Article 9. Creation of the Central System of Records for Animal Protection
1. The Central System of Records for Animal Protection is created, which will be attached to the corresponding ministerial department. The objective of this registration system is the coordination between the different dependent registers of the autonomous communities.
2. Said System will be made up of the Registry of Animal Protection Entities, the Registry of Animal Behaviour Professionals, the Registry of Companion Animals, the Registry of Companion Animal Zoological Nuclei and the Registry of Companion Animal Breeders.
3. The autonomous communities, in the exercise of their powers, will incorporate into each Registry the information collected in their information systems that they must create or update with the information determined by regulation and that will be limited to the achievement of the purpose pursued in each case, in accordance with the interoperability criteria determined by the corresponding ministerial department. The registry will be implemented through an interoperable system in accordance with Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector, and the autonomous communities will be able to access it for consultation in the exercise of their powers.41
